With over 10 years in Training and Adult Learning and 18 years in Sales, Martin helps organisations develop and implement performance measures and tools. A certified professional in Strategy Execution and Instructional Design, he has worked with various industries in Kenya and neighboring Countries of Uganda and Rwanda Martin is also a conference speaker dedicated to improving corporate learning. He enjoys photography, reading, and writing on performance improvement, Learning and development, strategy execution and Leadership development. Martin is certified in Instruction design- ATD , Merrill’s first Principles of instruction- 5 Star Performance USA, Balanced scorecard certified by Palladium Group USA. Martin operates at the intersection of learning and development to achieve strategy execution, which is the value he provides to to organisations he works with. Caroline Nyamwaya Mwazi Conference Chair Caroline is Director & Chief Change Catalyst, Huru Consult, a Nairobi-based management and training consulting company she founded in 2007, following a rich career in Corporate Banking. An international trainer and facilitator with over 19 years international L & D experience, she is an IFC (International Finance Corporation) certified Master Trainer, and certified Learning and Performance Institute (LPI-UK) Trainer Assessor, Online Learning Facilitator, and Designer of Online Learning. Passionate about people, business and organizational development, in additional to serving on the L&D Africa board, she also serves on the boards of the Association of Startup and SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK) where she is Committee Chair for Member Engagement and Support, and the board of the Kenya Association of Women Business Owners (KAWBO), overseeing capacity building. She has also been a regular speaker in the IFC’s Grow-Learn-Connect webinars and has previously been a panelist and speaker in the 2020 and 2022 L & D Africa conferences. She is passionate about the performing arts and personal development and is a regular contributor in the Marketing Africa, Magazine, Leading You column. Catherine Mukoko Committee Member Catherine Mukoko is a Learning Development and Knowledge Management expert with over 20 years’ of experience in skills development for the enhancement of productivity and performance of individuals, institutions, and businesses. She has expertise in Business Development, Curriculum Development, Policy Development, Managing Partnerships, and Mediation respectively. She is a Certified Danish Industries (DI) trainer of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); Certified Anti-Corruption Compliance Trainer – by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE-USA); Certified Professional Mediator by the Dispute and Conflict Resolution International (DCRI).She is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Marketing Option) from Africa Nazarene University and currently finalizing her MBA in Strategic Management at Africa Nazarene University. Catherine is also a Certified Professional Trainer by the Institute of Human Resource Management, Nairobi and a Member of the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) – UK.
