With over three decades of progressive experience in banking, Wilson Kamau is defined by three pillars: integrity, people and transformation. Wilson has held senior leadership roles including Acting CEO, Regional Head of Digital Banking (East & Southern Africa), Country Head of Transactional & Retail Banking, and Head of Global Transaction Services. His leadership style is collaborative, drawing strength from people – from Boards and CEOs to the fast-evolving Gen Z workforce, because he believes people remain the most critical currency in banking. A Chartered Banker (ACIB, UK) and a Certified International Cash Manager (CertICM, ACT UK), Wilson also holds an MSc in Finance & Investment (University of Nairobi) and a BSc (Hons.) in Financial Services (University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology, UK).
