Marisa has extensive Local Economic Development experience and specialises in guiding businesses to realise their ability to deliver extraordinary results. IMPACTING economic growth by developing and pairing SMMEs and big business.

Her experience covers a broader spectrum of business management skills development and training in industries such as renewable energy, mining public sector, tourism, light manufacturing, professional services, logistics and distribution, branding, printing and advertising, also agriculture, just to name a few. Marisa obtained her master’s in business administration in 2010 from the Gordon’s Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and is a certified Master Trainer and Assessor with the International Finance Corporation and the Learning and Performance Institute.

Marisa has been instrumental in establishing Tushiyah as an implementation partner in the Procurement, Enterprise and Supplier development arena, mobilising and upskilling the ordinary South African business owner and entrepreneur to deliver extraordinary results, ensuring our partners and clients get visionary treatment.
