Caroline is Director & Chief Change Catalyst, Huru Consult, a Nairobi-based management and training consulting company she founded in 2007, following a rich career in Corporate Banking. An international trainer and facilitator with over 19 years international L & D experience, she is an IFC (International Finance Corporation) certified Master Trainer, and certified Learning and Performance Institute (LPI-UK) Trainer Assessor, Online Learning Facilitator, and Designer of Online Learning.

Passionate about people, business and organizational development, in additional to serving on the L&D Africa board, she also serves on the boards of the Association of Startup and SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK) where she is Committee Chair for Member Engagement and Support, and the board of the Kenya Association of Women Business Owners (KAWBO), overseeing capacity building.

She has also been a regular speaker in the IFC’s Grow-Learn-Connect webinars and has previously been a panelist and speaker in the 2020 and 2022 L & D Africa conferences.

She is passionate about the performing arts and personal development and is a regular contributor in the Marketing Africa, Magazine, Leading You column.
