
Mrs. Anna Armo-Himbson
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA)
Mrs. Anna Armo-Himbson is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) formally the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI). She has over twenty-eight years’ experience in entrepreneurship development having built relevant expertise through local and foreign courses.
She served as an Assistant Trainer/Motivator and later became the Acting Regional Manageress at the Accra Business Advisory Centre with the responsibility to manage financial and non-financial activities to promote and develop Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
She has since then been responsible for coordinating the Promotion of Micro and Small Enterprises (PSME), a collaboration between the Ghanaian and German Governments to facilitate access of MSMEs to Business Development Services (BDS) and financial services. She serves as the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department (EDD) with oversight responsibility over the Women Enterprises Development Department (WEDD).
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing option) from the University of Ghana.
